1.       Product:  This is very crucial ask yourself what do you wanna sell or buy? Check out for your same kinda brand, is it marketable? Your product could be an idea, a skill, a brand etc. make research on the type of product you are gonna sell, how to sell, method of advertisement, get legal backing regarding your product, know your platforms for selling( social media, magazines, newspapers, radio, TV etc).know everything about your product that even when you are asked in a dream you won’t be word stranded.

2.       Finance:  A comedian once said the best business to start without capital is minding your own business this is on a light note, every business requires a capital to start, get a startup capital. Note don’t borrow to start up a business else you won’t really concentrate on building a business but rather on paying back the money you owe plus its advisable to launch your business while you still have a primary source of income, you don’t expect your business to grow over night, starting a business takes time and a virtue called patience. Save up if you must in order to kick off your business.


3.       Audience:  First thing first you have to strongly consider your targeted market, who are your buyers? Are you targeting male or female? Children or adult? Students or working class? Etc this must be put into consideration before you can kick start a business.

4.       Team/people: Someone once said that team mean (together everybody achieve more) if it’s a start up you can’t begin alone its better you get help, sourcing for ideas from friends, family isn’t a bad thing, get people who are competent in the area which you would need them for. And don’t forget teach them, motivate them, appraise them and scold them if need be.


5.       Tenacity/longevity: this has to do with timing how long for instance how long will it take you to build up your business? How long will take to build a long lasting chain of clients? How far do you want the business to go? All of these questions will give you an insight , help you generate long term goals and ideas on how you would wanna see your business in the next 5-10 years.
