Flipping
through the valve of innocuous voices I realize that one of the most
fascinating gift of mankind is love, love has taken placate measures to
convulse with me. It is apparent that the world will not have existed without
love.
Love is life greatest gift, love is the only
task worthy of life, love is your task, to love yourself and strive to be the
best of you , to love others by encouraging and supporting them to be the best
of themselves. To love God by living according to his set plans for your life.
To love simply means to give yourself freely, completely, unconditionally to
someone or something.
There is no limit to the extent you can
love, I believe in the seed of love which has been planted in every heart,
every man/woman out there who has been in love, was once in love, or is still
in love needs a conscious steady reminder that it still exist, though little
debacle here and there may waive its ugly head but is in you.
However over
the century there has been a challenge
of how no matter how many principles, precepts, facts and figures and program
people are taught on this subject of love there seems to be missing a
ingredients that’s the question that propelled this write up.
So many a
time we find it difficult to love , we have multiplied our past(hearts breaks, sacrifices,
frustrations, rejections and abuse) and reduced our values plus there’s this
laconic resentment that has build a wall of pain in our hearts, it look as if
it can never be real.
Every once in
while we get trapped by what we have been spoon fed like what we read, watch
and listen to, many attend seminars, conferences, retreats for answers to this
soul-searching questions that has raised so many eye brows, am not saying is
not good to attend intellectually inclined program but the truth be told, we
still end up not getting what we want rather we get more entangled, disoriented
and estranged in the world of love. its sometimes hard for us to deal with how
to identify, define, understand and fully internalized the mystery key of love.
Often than
quite we walk on eggshell trying to take each day as it comes, being blatantly meticulous
not to hurt the other person even when you know things aren’t going according
to patterns, no consensus, no decent conversation for a healthy a relationships,
you still find yourself being stuck with him/her. Walking in the blues can be
freaking infuriating; I have been in that shoe before so I know what am saying
especially when the other person isn’t putting much effort as you are.
More so others would think testing the waters is just the
best way to go about it, living a carefree life regardless of who gets hurts in
the process of driving rough, not wanting to be caged so they say, or be committed
in any way possible, they tell you no ways but I say there’s a way.
If I stand to be corrected love is not an exclusive club for
the elite few who were born with it, every individual has the capability to
love and be loved if only we can recognized and cultivate it, like I said
earlier it’s a seed just identify it and groom it.
The complex uncertain waters of 21ist century has flag off a
world of socially awkward people, narcissist, snitches, love sociopath,
religious and cultural clashes, moral and ethical compromises. If you are privilege
to take a questionnaire, you would believe me when I say the world is really
suffering from genuine love.
It high time we start embracing this gift life has given us,
love is full of hopes, it unites us, it cares no matter what, love sticks
close, it gets your back, love is strong. Life isn’t measured by the car we
ride, the designers we wear, the places we have visited for vacations, the
mansions we live in, the prestigious universities we graduated from, the amount
of money in our fixed deposit account, the sweet punctilious cuisines we get
daily, but life is magnetized by the people we love or hurt. If we must pursue
a harmonious and dynamic relationship then love must be the core foundation of
that relationship, love it’s a beautiful thing don’t get me wrong its sweet I
don’t know how to explain it to you… I pray you find that someone who will love
you genuinely.
Finally on this note I want you to pocket your fears, and be
ready to roll up your sleeves get to the job of making it work, take your time,
find that someone who you know deep down loves and admires you, do not, do
not trade that person for anything.
Remember love is a verb not a noun it therefore means that love is an action
word not a sleeping word, take action, fight for what you want don’t just fold
your worries and tell me it isn’t gonna work, give it your last best shot… and I promise you would thank me
