NEW YEAR'S EVE NOTE 


Hello beautiful people!

Its new eve in anticipation of a new year(2020) lemme tell you what people in this part of the world are busy doing right now... some are set to go out to their different denomination of worship to have an encounter cross over night vigil service , others are getting set to attend a birthday/hangout party. The business men/women won’t have a break they feel this is that moment where they would acquire all the money they have not been able to make in the course of the year therefore, they would sleep, eat, and cross over(into the new year) in their business places. while other people think this is a crucial moment of their life to do a self reflection/evaluation of the things they achieved and couldn’t achieve as the year comes to a close, some feel they need a great rest and will have it by taking enough sleep since their boss won’t give them a break this time and probably on new year’s day, this is the only chance they have got to achieve a great amount of sleep.


   Over to you! What is your plan for this night? Are you in the aforementioned category? Do you want to spend this night trying new things and destroying yourself? You know what? this paragraph is gonna be for questions alone, I will be asking you some soul-searching questions, thought provoking, heart throbbing questions, its not to get you frightened but a reawakening of a self. This is that moment where you ask yourself questions like; where was I last year where, have i been able to reach my goal this year ?where will I be next year?. Many a time it amazes me when I see people customize their social media walls with words like ‘’ new year new dreams, new year new me, or rather new year’s revolution what pains me the most is that they end up not practicing whatever write up they placate on their social media pages,’’ new year’s revolution’’ some swerve along the line of the year, others… just give them 2 weeks they are back to their usual self with the slang ‘’ I can’t kill myself’’ this is a slang  for indolent people in my country if I must say.


 It is absolutely obvious that you can’t kill yourself because you didn’t create yourself, why not try something new, use a new method, style of approach to that dreams, goals, of yours plus consistent hard work and let’s see if things won’t take a new shape/turn for the new year, deceased from some folks who are there to pull you backward, these folks might not be friends it could be a ‘’ tinge” a book, a movie, a site, nasty chats, that won’t help you grow physically, intellectually, morally, spiritually and financially or don’t you wish to have more money in your bank account? Don’t you want more accolades to your name? this is it ! don’t nurse your failures or get carried away in the euphoria of past victory but rather unfold your plans , be industrious (pay the price for the prize you want), IMPROVE ON;

·        Your career/ studies
·        In your relationship
·        On your trade
·        On your talent/gifts
·        In your marriage
·        On your style of ( cooking, dressing, communication etc)
·        Spread your tentacles
·        Be open to opinions
·        Lastly learn new thing

Finally on the new year’s note to self , I sincerely wanna use this medium to appreciate my beloved viewers who stood by me since I started this blog up on till this moment, you had faith in me when nobody else did, you come here weekly to view my write ups even at times when you didn’t comprehend them , when you feel I didn’t make sense, or am jobless, speaking jargon's, you stayed …without mincing words from the deepest part of my heart am saying thank you! Plus am always honored to be your humble host and to have you as my awesome guest.
          I will close the curtain by saying this…I pray for you and I pray for myself that you will finish this year strong, you will finish the year well, you will finish standing, you will end the year smiling, you will end the year rejoicing, you will have no reason mourn, all you couldn’t actualize in 11 months you will achieve it before the year closes, God will turn your stories into glory….happy new year from sugargurl@crew.com
