The world is incomplete without women this is not a poised from the feminist movement but a fact which stands to say women are the bearer of life, whether you like it or yes. The world today has taken a great turn because women decided to take up responsibilities meant for male filled up areas such as politics, finances, medicines, inventories, CEO of major companies to mention but a few.

Gone are the days when women are relegated to marriage, child bearing, baby sitting, home Manager and house wife. I am not saying a woman should not have kids or be married but my motion is the notion of seeing women as a weaker vessels should be an amnasia in our minds.

However, women should not be seen as or treated like trash that is being a punch bag of some psykadelic dude, their hearts should not be a dumping ground for broken bottles, their feelings should not be treated like shadows in the wind or a piosious plague.women have potential and they breed potentials, women are epitome of the wealth of a Nation. I cannot overflogged this cogent need for women to be seen and heard about. Moreso here is an article from my student she is a science student who wants to become a prolific writer, however, name and location of this writer won't be divulge. The Need For Girl-Child Education   

Nothing is as important in this world as education. All humans are gifted with the same brain which makes us different from other species. How we put it use, however, matters alot. The girl-child is also gifted with a brain to use like the male. There is a need for girl-child education because educating a girl child is like educating all people or nation. 

In the past, some parents  did not see the education of the girl-child as a priority simply because they think school is not made for them. The girl-child was only restricted to the kitchen and child-bearing. Only the males were sent to school. 

A woman is the first teacher at home. She teaches children social and religious values. She is a care giver, a chef, a counsellor, mother, wife, home manager, life giver and cultural custodian. How will a woman fulfill all these responsibilities without adequate education? 

Educating a female child will give them the confidence to protect themselves from any form of abuse from the male gender. Not only that, an educated girl-child will be in a better position to defend and educate other girls on any form of sexual abuse. 

A female child is a weapon of positive change. Take the likes of Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Chimamanda Adichie, Alakija Folake, Amina Muhammad, Ibukun Awosika, etc. If these women were not given the privilege of education, what would have become of them? The world would have surely lost the opportunity of having the contributions of these great geniuses. 

In conclusion, I will advise us not to allow the girl-child to be treated as if she is not capable of doing what the male child can do.
